There's a "Now Serving" sidewalk sign inside the future
Pitango Gelato at 4901-A Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda, suggesting they could very well be doing so soon. Montgomery County remains under lockdown, but Pitango is operating all of its existing locations this weekend as takeout-only, so it's possible they could start before dine-in service is allowed again. It's interesting that to this point in construction, they've kept the decorative plant wall at the north end of the space, a holdover from previous tenant Tapabar.
