Plane Jane Salon has relocated to its new space at 4864 Rugby Avenue, in the new Gallery Bethesda II apartment tower. Their new hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-9:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. Clients must book their appointments in advance
online, and sign a waiver form.

Nice to see another tenant on Gallery Lane! At this point, the landlord should subsidize a few start up retailers or restaurants, to get a more critical mass of activity.
Maybe a few big open art galleries would be nice. Not much finishing required, just seal the concrete floor, build some simple mobile drywall partitions and add some LED track lighting. Seems like a nice idea to have some “galleries” on “gallery lane”. Give them reduced rent for five years to establish the district. Create a weekly gallery opening event every Friday to generate some vibe.

It's a shame Gallery Lane and the rest of Gallery II retail space is so slow to fill.
It's surrounded by 4 apartment high rises and steps from hundreds of apartments on battery lane.
