Pickpocket strikes again at Bethesda restaurant

The news on this website often comes in handy - especially when said hand is trying to steal your wallet while you are distracted, and you instead are aware this could happen. Such was the case with my report last month of a pocket being picked at a restaurant in the 7200 block of Woodmont Avenue. It turns out another pocket was picked at a restaurant in the same block of Woodmont around 6:00 PM on November 10.

Last month's pickpocket struck at the same time on the same block. Was it the same restaurant? Unfortunately, Montgomery County does not specify the business, residence or other exact address when reporting crime data.

The latest victim probably wasn't a reader of this blog. Another good reason to share this site with everyone you know. And - watch your wallet!
