Two buildings known for former tenants Ranger Surplus, Bethesda Valet and the "Beer House" have been boarded up and partially fenced off after break-ins and repeated trespassing in and around the downtown Bethesda properties. The retail structure at 8008 and 8010 Wisconsin Avenue, and the vintage house that once housed a beer store at the corner of Cordell and Woodmont Avenues, have No Trespassing signs now. These buildings have been left vacant after planned projects by Douglas Development, and later Toll Brothers, stalled out.

There was a homeless guy living there for a while. I named him “The Squatter”
The property owners should be forced to demolish these vacant structures by the County.
I prefer to call it the 'beer shack'. Fond memories.
