BLACK'S BAR AND KITCHEN LAUNCHES ANNUAL OYSTER EVENT THIS SATURDAY IN BETHESDA

This Saturday, August 24, Black's Bar and Kitchen will host its first annual Hot Summer, Cold Oysters event, in conjunction with Rappahannock Oyster Company and Flying Dog Brewery, from noon to 3 PM.

Tickets can be ordered online for $55 per person, plus tax.

For that fee, you'll get:

• All you can eat raw oysters from Rappahannock Oyster Co., including Sting Rays and Black Restaurant Group’s signature ‘Old Black Salts,’ and other oysters from the Chesapeake Bay. Shuckers will be on hand to talk through the oyster varieties available;

• Grilled Barcat oysters with barbeque butter;

• A local, whole-roasted pig from Brad Parker;

• Seasonal sides including coleslaw and grilled corn on the cob;

• Pearl Necklace Oyster Stout and Atlantic Lager from Frederick, Maryland’s Flying Dog Brewery

Black's is located at 7750 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda. There will be free parking Saturday in the adjacent county-owned garage.
