This time, he is grandstanding en español, at taxpayer and cable bill-payer expense. Unfortunately, even the Spanish-language media isn't asking the councilman if he was aware of the alleged thefts and drinking-and-driving by County liquor delivery men prior to Election Day, and kept it quiet until 48 hours after voters cast their ballots.

MEDIA STILL DODGING, COUNCILMAN STILL GRANDSTANDING ON MONTGOMERY COUNTY LIQUOR SCANDAL
The Washington Post and The Gazette have yet to ask Montgomery County Councilmember Hans Riemer what he knew about alleged criminal activity in the County's Department of Liquor Control, and when he knew it. Meanwhile, Councilmember Riemer continues his free media campaign, using the scandal for political gain by posing as a crusader for justice.

OMG, Rimmer is speaking in Spanish at taxpayer expense!
It's so sad that The Washington Times and the Washington Examiner are in on the cover-up as well. My faith is shattered.
I'm heading for the fainting couch now. I will spend the rest of the afternoon with a wet rag draped melodramatically over my forehead.
Douglas Willinger now has some serious competition for the title of "Craziest DC Area Blogger".
At this point, I think it's reasonable to ask Dyer that he finds a new file photo of beer.
The out of focus one he keeps using is giving me a headache.
ROBERT: that beer pictured was poured horribly wrong...look at all that foam!
May I suggest you tip the glass a bit next time! And tip your bartender next time too! The last thing we need is for such an upstanding lifelong resident of Bethesda and truth-seeker to keep stiffing area bartenders on their tips.
AND DON'T DENY WHAT YOU DID!
Robert,
It's refreshing to see a journalist like yourself fulfill the traditional watch dog role of the media.
The Sentinel digs through the City of Rockville governments trash cans, but they are neglectful when it comes to investigating the MoCo Council.
10:59: What's crazy about reporting the facts? What's crazy would be journalists giving a sitting councilmember a free pass on covering up a scandal until after Election Day.
Robert, Hans is our lord and savior ... you are a false prophet.
Be happy you're not run out of town. #DEPORTDYER
Bob's running the show 4:45. All you can do is comment now.
In Bob we trust.
Sure the facts are there but your accusation is not a fact. Merely conjecture. Allegations. Do you agree? Yes or no.
Tom, the ball is in Mr. Riemer's court - and the court of the local media. What did he know and when did he know it? Until he and News 4 tell us, the preponderance of the evidence strongly indicates a cover-up. The "yes or no" questions are best suited for Mr. Riemer at this point.
Glad you find government corruption humorous, 10:42.
What preponderance of evidence? You have provided circumstantial evidence only. Beyond that, what are you bringing to the table?
You know all my comments have been open unbiased, working towards an answer versus blasting you as others have. So a logical straight forward answer would be appreciated.
6:50 You're going around in circles. You should be awaiting Mr. Riemer's and News 4's explanation, and for a media investigation. They know what the actual timeline of events was. Until then, the available evidence strongly suggests a cover-up.
This is honestly the dumbest blog entry I've ever seen. I am not exaggerating. Thank you for the laugh, Dyer.
9:49 If you find corruption funny, by all means, laugh. Just don't expect to be taken seriously.
When can we expect to see Jim Vance led away in handcuffs?
Sure we can wait and wait and wait.
But the evidence does not "strongly" suggest a cover up. That part is your opinion only. That is why you are the only one asking this. That is why no one else cares.
ERMAHGERD!!! KERVERERP!
DERYER!
Tom, don't you understand?
Robert Dyer is smarter than you and his opinions matter more. His opinions matter so much that they are actually facts.
Everything that comes out of Robert Dyer's mouth is a fact, even the crumbs from the latest offering he picks up at Taco Bell.
FYI: the Washington Examiner ceased publishing its local product years ago.
Will Mr. Riemer also call for a criminal investigation of the Silver Spring transit center debacle? That project has stolen way more money from our pockets than these 2 truck drivers.
@ 5:08 AM -
Like that's some excuse for their shameful role in the cover-up of the BIGGEST SCANDAL IN AMERICA!!!1!
BEERGHAZI!!!
lol @ "Beerghazi"; lol @ Dyer telling commenters "Just don't expect to be taken seriously."
Funny thing is despite all Bobby's whining, if Reimer came out with this news before elections I would have been more inclined to vote for him. Exposing corruption! Go Reimer!
Oooh... Kraut just dissed Dyer:
"Despite Republican Larry Hogan’s upset gubernatorial win last week, no Republicans in Montgomery County won a county or state legislature race. Demographics, history and a dearth of qualified candidates are the main challenges."
7:49AM has some breaking news: Republicans didn't win in MoCo races.
Anonymous must have just dug up last week's edition of The Gazette from underneath a leaf pile.
Reimer and his few loyal blogging acolytes believed he was a shadow council member for Bethesda and White Flint.
I wonder if they'll change their tune in his next term considering that even the Post said he got so little done the past 4 years. He certainly didn't deliver anything to Bethesda residents.
There was a tight race with Bongino and Delaney.
DYER IS A DO NOTHING LIBERAL!
7:49: Was "lack of media coverage" one of the "main challenges?"
Gazette motto: All the News About the Incumbents That Fits.
11:11 He sure was a shadow - he did nothing to stop the selection of 6900 Wisconsin as the new post office, nothing to reopen illegally closed sidewalks, and there is less square footage of parkland in Bethesda than when he took office. What a record.
7:40 How is allowing corruption exposing corruption?
12:07 Jim Vance is neither the reporter on this story nor an elected official who took an Oath of Office.
Hi rob. Honest questions here
What role did the county have in selecting a federal post office?
Hi rob. honest questions here
Why are you incapable of admitting that you are wrong?
Another challenge is when a large amount of registered voters don't vote... 7:49
That's just sad.
12:48: The same role they had in complaining about BRAC - representing their constituents. Why didn't the council advocate for our interests?
4:35: Because, as anyone who reviews the evidence presented can tell you, I'm not wrong.
Go dammit dyer. It's all circumstantial evidence. Hardly real evidence.
