Spring weather gets Bethesda deli working on its patio space (Photos)

Although it's seemed more like winter in the last few days, the arrival of spring has brought back outdoor patio dining in downtown Bethesda. It appears spring will bring an update to the patio at Heckman's Delicatessen on Cordell Avenue. Men were working there yesterday afternoon. Stay tuned for updates.

Oh nice! Glad to see these woodmont triangle spots use their outdoor spaces as more than parking!

Love the food but stopped going because service was too slow. This place needs more workers not more seating!

It's crazy they park there. Two spaces in the county garage might be $300 or something a month? Instead they use that valuable space for parking.

Would love to see more of these little buildings get renovated. Remember when Blush expanded to full size from half? A step in the right direction. But they do need to go up now too.

It has just been wintery everywhere the past few days. But you do a great job on hyperlocal news, and Bethesda is lucky to have you, Robert.
