Bethesda's Woodmont Crescent building for lease

Woodmont Crescent, an older office-retail building with a prime location in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle, is for lease. Bethesda real estate firm Streetsense is marketing the property as space for lease up to 17,000 SF, or as a ground-lease or build-to-suit opportunity.

The building's current tenants include a Starbucks, The Blue House and the offices of Bethesda Magazine.

That entire building is ripe for teardown. Starbucks is fine of course and that Blue House store is pretty cool and does well. I hate all this teardown going on but that one would be a good candidate. I'll say this, Jeff Black was really smart to buy the space they are in. Someone could have come in and proposed to blow that entire block up as they done around the corner.

Agreed. Two stories is not effective use of this property. Especially now that the 17 stories are right next to it.

Seems a fight for a highrise in this spot would be the natural compliment for a fight against mid rises in Westbard.

Many of those big nasty Woodmont Triangle rats call this building home.
