Norfolk Mini Mart under new management in Bethesda (Photos)

The small convenience store at 8006 Norfolk Avenue is "under new management," according to the electronic scrolling sign in the window. Also notable: the new management has removed the "Your Mini Mart" sign that was posted above "Fresh Instant Coffee" at the top of the window. That name change occurred just about a year ago. The store was previously known as Norfolk Mini Mart.

I've always gotten a hoot from that "fresh instant coffee" sign.

Why no report on the colossal traffic jam on the Beltway this morning?

If you're trying to "look busy" in order to avoid condemning your pony-tailed friends in the NPI, this is a really lame effort.

@10:15: Why don't you start your own blog with reports on Beltway traffic jams? Opinions aside, the author puts a lot of effort into seeing what's happening in Bethesda.

10:15: "Traffic jam on biggest travel day of the year - film at 11!! In other news, it's cold outside."

Meanwhile, back to the real news in Bethesda.

Why didn't you try moving that chair away from the scrolling sign before you took a picture of it?
