Butcher's Alley installs signage at expanded Bethesda shop (Photos)

Butcher's Alley has installed its permanent awning signage, as it expands into the former water store at 4961 Bethesda Avenue. The cow 🐮 is still there next door.

Having more space will create room for a new artisan cheese 🧀 shop, as well as a larger selection of charcuterie and fresh meat. 🍖

Too scared they would call the cops if you took pictures in daylight?

People may actually be able to find them now. A relative of mine who really knows food raves about this place and says cheaper than WF

I've been there a few times. What they offer is good quality, but the selection isn't great. I think they should get more into prepared foods too.

Now what would be killer is if they or someone else opens up a produce store at the old Lotus dealership a few doors down. Then this block would be the ultimate shopping street for groceries, when the Fresh Baguette a few doors down is factored in.

Prices are reasonable for USDA prime steak and the ice cream they have on sale is delicious!

I have been here twice. Prices for the USDA prime steaks are reasonable as others have pointed out. The customer service here is also great.

10:44: You mean the magazine that just printed a fake headline about a "hate crime" that didn't happen? I wouldn't rely on that source.
