Class 520 Thai ice cream roll shop to open in Bethesda

Class 520, a Thai ice cream roll shop that already has a location in Rockville, is expanding to Bethesda. Also known as stir-fried ice cream, the unique preparation style and presentation originated in Thailand. Class 520's Bethesda location will be on Elm Street.

Here is a video that shows how Thai ice cream rolls are made and served.

In Japan, it is not uncommon to order eel flavored ice cream.

This looks like quite the build out for an ice cream joint! Psyche! Looks more like a doctor's office Dyer goes to for his crazy pills

Class 520? Where does the name come from? At first I misread it as Class 420 -- great place for munchies.

I have been to this in Rockville. It is really fun. The ice cream looks like frozen crepes. Never seen anything like it.
