Olivia Macaron has opened a kiosk at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. The local company is best known for its standalone macaron-and-coffee shop in Georgetown, but is expanding into malls with kiosks here and in Tysons Corner.
The selection of flavors at Olivia puts many French bakeries to shame, with regular varieties that include blueberry cheesecake and Fruity Pebbles alongside more traditional choices. Seasonal flavors include PB&J, Pumpkin Spice, Candy Cane, Gingerbread, and an Egg Nog macaron that even sports the red and green candy dots found on Christmas cookies.
Meanwhile, the seemingly-eternal construction of Menchie's Frozen Yogurt continues apace at the mall. Tables and chairs have arrived, and yogurt dispensers are in place.

Why did you take the picture of thr menu at that weird angle? That makes it unreadable, defeating the purpose of showing it.
I can read it just fine, and so can everyone else. Shut up.
They screwed up on the pricing of the Gift Boxes:
9 for $25 - $2.78 each
14 for $35 - $2.50 each
20 for $55 - $2.75 each
24 for $65 - $2.70 each
I hope Ms. Macaroni's place does not get burgularized. I fear that people from PG County will steal Fruity Pebbles Macaroons to eat with their Purple Drank.
