One of the tenants to come aboard at the new office buiding at 4500 East-West Highway will make its debut today. Serendipity Labs, a chain of upscale co-working spaces, will celebrate its opening with a ribbon-cutting at 4:40 PM this afternoon. Among those expected to attend are Lynne Stein Benzion, Director, Business Retention and Expansion at Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation; Karen McManus from Senator Chris Van Hollen’s office, and Jennifer Russel, VP of Economic Development for the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce.
The Bethesda location is the company's sixth in the United States, and it has plans to open another hundred. Members at one "lab" can have access to all the others nationwide. Spaces at the Bethesda lab are 30% presold as of today. In addition to private office space, the labs also have spaces for meetings and conferences.

Has Dyer ever ridden on a bike in his life? Or does he ride the CCT on his Big Wheel trike?

hahaha @7:42 With all the time spent finding stories, you should just run your own site.
Well, unless you already do?
Or are you looking to get Dyer to hire you?
How can Dyer, whose "work" generates no revenue, "hire" someone?
8:44: Unlike Hans Riemer, I have hired and fired employees in the private sector.
8:44am how do you know Dyer's revenue or his business plan for his local news operation?
He's filling a great need in the news deserts of the county. Why not support his efforts?
You have way too much hate for someone you've never met or know.
@ 8:49 - New nick, same old talking points. Same old #UnsignedDyer.
How do you know that Dyer's "work" generates no revenue?
He seems to have a bunch of things he does. For all you know he could have income from other things he does or he might have unearned income, like investments.
Your comments reek of envy.
9:03AM - You just re-worded 8:58's post on the TV tower article. Guess it pissed you off and you went all tit for tat.
@ 9:10 - Your comments reek of cheese.
Guess that stung. Childish retort. Not your best look. Keep working on adulting.
I'd be mad and upset about my journalism career trajectory if I spent all day rewriting MoCo press releases, trash/recycling pickup schedules, as well as rehashing articles from Dyer and the Post. Also sprinkling in random requests from Reamer and EYA.
That's a hellish job description right there and you're taking it out on Robert Dyer.
"I'd be mad and upset about my journalism career trajectory if I spent all day rewriting MoCo press releases..."
You mean like "Assault: Location unknown?"
How many of these spaces have been taken up by MS-13? Build the fence!
Build a fence around our schools to keep creepy old guy Tallman the hell out.
Why would a coworking company open up in a "moribund economy?"
7:14: Because people can't afford office space in the moribund economy, so this provides an alternative.
For $399 a month it's a bargain. More gig economy, no need for a full time office space.
@720- they still have to pay for the space birdbrain
