Is that some kind of racist comment? Brownie?
"Once again, WMATA takes more and charges more, but delivers less. Heckuva job, Brownie!"
According to the route map on the schedule, effective June 25 of this year, those buses don't even go along that stretch of Woodmont Avenue. Did you just suddenly notice this?

7:44: I have the announcement right here, and it clearly states that service will end September 24. Remember, this is WMATA saying this, not me, old sport.
The J2 and J3 do not currently run along that stretch of Woodmont Avenue. Why would there be a bus stop there? That would be dumb.
clearing out little used bus stops or stops very close to others is a great idea. oftentimes, buses are agonizingly slow as they stop at each block. less stops means faster transportation. for once WMATA is actually in the right.
Robert, if you don't even take the J2/J3 (which, from this post, it's clear you don't), then why do you feel compelled to provide your uneducated opinion on the matter?
The J2 and J3 do not run along the stretch of Woodmont Avenue in front of the Christopher. They run along Old Georgetown Road to Edgemoor Lane to the Metro station.
Wow, Dyer got every single detail of the September 24 changes WRONG.

Dyer: WMATA is arbitrarily discontinuing Metrobus Route J2/J3 service to the stop on Woodmont Avenue by The Christopher condos. Apparently, J7 service will continue, as will the Bethesda Circulator stop. The end of J2/J3 service is scheduled for September 24, 2017.
WMATA: "Eastbound J2 and J3 bus service will no longer serve Norfolk Ave and Woodmont Ave. Buses will return to Commerce Ln and Edgemoor Ln in Bethesda."
Dyer: "Apparently, J7 service will continue..."
WMATA: "The last day of routes J7 and J9 service will be Friday, September 29."
Sorry, chump, there's nothing about the third route on this announcement. It sounds like WMATA has trapped you in a "Who's on first?" routine. Meanwhile, I'll stick with the official WMATA information IN PRINT that I cited here, as opposed to anonymous trolls.
"What's on second, I don't know's on third."
"I'll stick with the official WMATA information IN PRINT that I cited here"
Hans Riemer is printing signs and putting them up to troll Dyer. LOL
Wonder if they are cancelling stops along Rt 1 in Fredericksburg as well?
@Dyer/8:39
You really need to calm down and stop calling everyone who disagrees with you trolls or an employee of Bethesda Mag or the county. Is this how you act in person?
When your readers point out an error, more often than not they're right. I regularly read this blog and never, ever, ever have I ever seen you simply admit you were incorrect about something, thank the person, and move on. All of us make mistakes, and professionalism is a core value if you want to be taken seriously.
Dyer says" I'll stick with the official WMATA information IN PRINT that I cited here, as opposed to anonymous trolls."
To the 8:28 AM guy who linked to Metro's page.
What?
Leave it to Dyer to try to make changing a bus route political...
...and some more Bethesda business news.
No loss of bus stops, you Birdbrain.
The route is shifting to Wisconsin Avenue then Commerce Lane, south of Cheltenham. The bus stop will be relocated to the new route.
Hey Dyer - Why are you not rejoicing over the MoCo Cartel's poaching of the corporate headquarters of Fox 5 from the DC Cartel?
