Pet Parents preview (Photos)

Pet Parents looks just about fully stocked at 4913 Fairmont Avenue, in the ground floor of the Bainbridge Bethesda apartment tower. The store will offer pet foods and snacks, pet toys, accessories and a dog-walking service.

Sad. Robert this is your big news? Scooped again by Bethesda’s real magazine. Old Sport, did you take note of their scoop on Amazon Books moving in. That’s the difference between a 50 year olds’ blog and a real business.

12:08: I've opened an investigation into what the "source" for the Amazon Books "scoop" was. You seem to have forgotten I was the one who wrote about the rumor of Amazon Books several months ago, after Federal Realty got one at Santana Row if I remember correctly. The fact that some entity passed it to the small-and-slightly-failing magazine instead of me, who was ahead of the curve all along, stinks to high heaven.

Was it another perk of the secret business deal between the Washington Post and Bethesda Magazine? Unable to report the store themselves for ethical reasons (Bezos being their owner), the Post hands it off to business partner Bethesda Magazine, and then will cite them as the source in their own article?

Was it a bad-actor real estate firm that handled the leasing on Amazon's end? I don't want to name names, but there was a firm that swore up and down that they could not violate their sacred client oath by confirming a particular restaurant tenant. A few days later, they handed the confirmation off to Bethesda Now, which had no clue the restaurant was even coming to Bethesda.

Bottom line: The magazine has no sources, beyond the MoCo cartel and David Trone, so when they say "a source," there's something real fishy going on.

Investigation underway. Finding out the bad actor in this nefarious skullduggery would actually be more exciting than an Amazon "Honey, I Shrunk the Costco" Books store.

By the way, there was no "permit" for Amazon filed. I had just checked the permits database the night before. Nuttin' for Amazon in there, old sport.

This bashing of another business with suppositions and opinion is repulsive. They obviously had a source. Deal with it.
Conspiracy...you're full of it. These people have better things to do than collude against you. Sheesh. Too big for your britches.

You got an issue with them? Stop whining and prove yourself. This "you have to like me because they're bad" attitude is old and tired.

If you want people to like you, do something worthy of being liked.

I love love this pet store. It’s like going into a high posh clothing store but the prices are reasonable and it’s for your pet. I love the pet parent tee shirt -
