Bethesda construction update: 4747 Bethesda Avenue (Photos)

JBG Smith's Class A office building 4747 Bethesda Avenue is beginning to round into shape with glass pane installation. The structure looms over its accompanying two-story retail space next door, but itself will be dwarfed by Carr Properties' twin towers at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue.

The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike.

When will Bob the Builder go on Tucker Carlson like County Council candidate Will Jawando did last night?

No word yet on a tenant for the restaurant space in 4747 Bethesda or the market space in 4749 Bethesda? I believe the office tower is about 81% leased.

Supposedly Chase Bank will be occupying part of the retail building.

Robert, the election is just 21 days away. Have you posted campaigns anywhere besides on your four blogs?

I'm presently surprised at the look of this building. The architecture is bold and different, and I like how they integrated the smaller pre-existing building into the design. The view from Anthropologie is impressive.

Hopefully the new Carr buildings will be equally attractive from an architectural standpoint.
