A crew working in front of the Marriott International headquarters construction site closed two southbound lanes of Wisconsin Avenue all the way back to Cordell Avenue last night. Be on the lookout for such overnight lane closures as the project moves forward. The development partners for the project say they have begun drilling and pile driving at the site, and will finish restoring concrete and pavers along the sidewalk by the end of this week.
The partners also confirmed that their project had nothing to do with the recent power outages in downtown Bethesda.

Forward looking it to!
I love what Robert Dyer is doing for MoCo with these reports from around the county.
Colored me shocked that they weren't the cause of the outages. Thanks for the update Robert!

So...did you ever contact PEPCO to ask them what caused last week's outages?
