It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Sears at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. It's also the beginning of the end, as the venerable department store will close its doors forever in March. This Last Christmas brings not only the traditional Christmas display at Sears, but a new toy section, as well. Facing bankruptcy, the chain appears to be trying to capitalize on the demise of Toys R Us.
The selection is not as wide as the toy department at Target, but certainly offers plenty of popular Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel and Elmo toys. Welcome to Fast Eddie Lampert's Toyland, the Grinch who is stealing all future Sears Christmases in Bethesda.

I sure hope you asked permission before taking photographs in a private place.
5:05am you're mixed up, Dyer isn't the school blogger
Yes, I'm sure the soon to be bankrupt Sears is concerned about photos of their toy assortment.
I'd be delighted if a local news site was making people aware of the new holiday section.
6:48 what the heck does that mean
What's kinda sad is that the dying Sears seems to be better organized than the not-yet-dying Macy's.
The irony of pedoguy blogger @9:50am talking about Dyer. Yikes.
Looks like Sears won't make it to March 31. Probably not even Christmas, or even Black Friday.
Yep, they're bankrupt.
