Work crews are closing lanes and digging up streets day and night in downtown Bethesda. The curb lane of Woodmont Avenue behind 8200 Wisconsin, the DoubleTree hotel, the Bethesda Medical Building and the "apartment building for homeless people" was closed down Monday afternoon.
Disabled and elderly patients were unable to easily access the rear entrances at the medical building. I observed three seniors with walkers being obstructed trying to access the building in only 15 minutes. A greyish slime resembling cement was gurgling down the gutter and edge of the street as workers used large saws to cut into the asphalt.
After nightfall, another crew started working in one of the hotspots for utility problems, Old Georgetown Road north of Cordell Avenue.

Which utility company? WSSC? Washington Gas? PEPCO? Verizon? Comcast? The work on Old Georgetown Road is definitely WSSC's pipe replacement project.
Also, you need to correct your erroneous statement from 10 days ago which implies that there is still work being done on Battery Lane. WSSC completed their pipe replacement project on the street several months ago, and the street has been completely resurfaced. Battery Lane and Rugby Avenue are completely separate streets.

4:21am nothing erroneous about it. Dyer accurately reported to WSSC project by the proper name per WSSC.
Have good day sir.
"the 'apartment building for homeless people'"
That building has a name - Cordell Place, and it is not a "homeless shelter".
I suppose you think new buildings should be fully assembled off site and droppped in with massive helicopters in the middle of the night.
Water was shut off last night without warning for several blocks of Cordell Ave. Today, water is bubbling up onto the street at the intersection of Auburn Ave and Old Georgetown Rd.
I’m glad the “all work in Bethesda must be Marriott” narrative seems to have gone away in the local media for the time being.
