Hyatt Regency Bethesda fall display

A new display outside of the Hyatt Regency Bethesda hotel is getting downtown Bethesda in the fall and Halloween spirit. Hay bales, cornstalks and pumpkins create a harvest season scene in front of the newly-renovated hotel at the Bethesda Metro Center.

Dyer was afraid to take that picture at nighttime because those trees just might come alive and bodyslam him through a coffee table.

Why didn’t they finish the pavers adjacent to the hotel drop off area now that Starbucks is completed and open? I’m not a fan of looking at green AstroTurf and chessy planters. Are they adding outdoor seating for the coffee shop? With no direct access from the coffee shop it seems like it would barely get used.

I thought the AstroTurf was going to be a putting green.

I love these daily dispatches from Bethesda!

I was told they were not allowed to place pavers because of a disagreement with metro, directly below. Hopefully they get it worked out, as it looks terrible.
