New poll shows Wolf only 6 points behind Frosh in Maryland Attorney General race

A new Gonzales poll out yesterday showed Republican Craig Wolf surging in the Maryland Attorney General race, only 6 percentage points behind incumbent Democrat Brian Frosh. The narrowing gap brought new attention to the race Wednesday, with Wolf using the poll in a new fundraising pitch.

Frosh was in position to win handily just a few weeks ago, although Larry Hogan has proven it is still possible for a Republican to win statewide in Democratic-controlled Maryland. Some attributed Frosh's 23-point collapse to the public perception that he has been entirely focused on Donald Trump and Washington since 2017, instead of Maryland issues. At the same time, Frosh's Trump obsession was thought to be a winning move with Democratic voters statewide.

An alert RockvilleNutz reader fills in what Dyer leaves out:

"As for the actual data on the Gonzales poll:

'Frosh was the choice of 43 percent of those surveyed by Gonzales Research and Media Services. Republican Craig Wolf, former CEO of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America and a former federal prosecutor, had the support of 34 percent of voters. Nearly one in four voters was undecided.'"

Any recent polling on the Riemer/Dyer horse race?

Has Mr. Dyer received any endorsements?

Why Riemer has refused to debate is a more interesting question.
Essentially holding the ball and hoping to run out the clock.

Sorry, Dyer, you are wrong, as usual.

Gonzales Poll, as reported in The Washington Post:

"Frosh earned the support of 43% of likely Maryland voters in poll released Wednesday by Gonzales Research & Media Services, compared with 34% for Wolf. The poll found that 23% of voters were undecided."

43% - 34% = 9%.

9:24: WTF - It says 6% right in the graphic above the article. You must think people are as moronic as you. Again, punch yourself hard in the face, but the good news is, you're going to federal prison where your fellow inmates will take good care of you.

“WTF - It says 6% right in the graphic above the article”

So the graphic you made is incorrect as well!

"The graphic is official from the Wolf campaign"

Why didn't you disclose that this was a campaign ad when you first published this ad yesterday?

"I, the Post and Wolf say six."

The Post says nine, and the two Republican candidates - Craig Wolf and Robert Dyer - are liars.

"Frosh earned the support of 43% of likely Maryland voters in poll released Wednesday by Gonzales Research & Media Services, compared with 34% for Wolf. The poll found that 23% of voters were undecided."

43% - 34% = 9%.

Will Dyer bother to read the fine print in Wolf's campaign ad?

Nope. He's that lazy.

4:49pm Hans Reimer is the face of today's Democrats. "When they go low, we kick them".

Angry mob Hans Reimer was arrested.

"Angry mob Hans Reimer"

What does this mean?

Riemer is part of the "you go low and we'll kick you" party.

Hans Riemer was arrested.

4:53: Did you read the actual poll? Did you read the articles? Don't take your illiteracy out on the rest of us. I know you're frustrated that Brian "No Mandatory Minimums for Sex Predators" Frosh is sinking in the polls, but again, don't take it out on me. Did he help you get a lighter sentence in the past?

Here is the article in The Washington Post:

Here is the Gonzales poll itself:

I'll let the other readers decide which one of us is better able to analyze and compare polling statistics, and which one is an innumerate birdbrain and a babbling fool.

Also, shouldn't you disclose that Frosh defeated your father in the 2006 election? That seems to be the genesis of your resentment.

Robert Dyer said...

5:45: The 2006 election? You mean the one where the Post editorial board said Marilyn Goldwater was "running at a stepped=up pace" 48 hours after she had to be physically carried into and out of a candidate forum, at which her failing health prevented her from even speaking? The one where the Washington Post didn't even write a general interest story on a father and son running together on the ballot, much less cover the campaigns? That's happened how many times in local political history? And it's suddenly not newsworthy when they are Republican?

The Gonzales poll itself shows the six-point lead of Frosh. Maybe you're scared that Wolf will win and prosecute the crimes Frosh let you off on. Wolf's campaign wouldn't have said six if it wasn't six. You're trying to recast the poll data with some kind of asterisk reading of the results, much like your buddies' totally fake job numbers exposed by Bill Turque before Jeff Bezos pulled the plug on actual coverage of Montgomery County politics.

Wolf or no Wolf, you're going to prison for harassment, threats and cyberbullying - two years in federal prison for each instance. That's a long time in the slammer. You better hire Kevin Hart to coach you for Riker's Island like Will Ferrell.

Dyer @ 11:04 PM (2:04 AM EDT LOL)

Rikers Island is not a federal prison, Dummy. It belongs to New York City.
