Construction of the Hampden House apartment tower at 7316 Wisconsin Avenue has reached street level. Once it starts rising beyond this point, it won't be overshadowed by the massive Bethesda Metro station elevator shaft project happening right next to it on Elm Street anymore. The 25-story Hampden House will contain 366 rental apartments, 10,110 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and a 5-level underground parking garage. Developer B.F. Saul anticipates a 2025 delivery date for the project.
