Forbes Design Center has closed at 7613 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. The window and door installation showroom has been cleared out, and the space is now available for lease. A family-owned company, Forbes has another showroom in Timonium. The family business started as a lumber yard in 1926, before transitioning to the door and window design and installation business in the late 1960s.

Maybe the space will be reoccupied by a pizzeria or smoke shop. We don't need higher end home improvement businesses anymore.
