Dig signage installed in Bethesda

Permanent signage has been installed at Dig, the the farm-sourced fast-casual restaurant opening soon at 4733 Elm Street in downtown Bethesda. The large sign over the storefront is already lit now after dark. Two smaller, unlit logo badges have been attached to the corner of the building. The restaurant has joined the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce.

Nothing survives in that spot. It's a goner.

If this food establishment doesn't succeed, maybe a bank will? This has been one of those RE location anomalies where nothing seems to work.

this spot is cursed. I give it a year max and that's being generous.

The problem is there isn't the vibrant "lunch crowd" that makes DIG popular in NYC. Not enough workers dining their during the week!

Nothing has ever survived that location, but DIG is very good, maybe good enough to thrive in that spot. Maybe as an after-work or week-end spot for those seeking a good fast-casual meal.
