The future Cheesecake Factory at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda may be gaining even more square footage. Work on the exterior of the space has bumped out further into the parking lot area. This could be to allow more room for equipment. Or, it could mean that the mall exterior will expand outward, providing more interior space for the traditionally-large dining chain.
As you recall, the interior walls of the space already were bumped out into the corridor, to expand the size of the restaurant.
If you notice, the amount of the exterior wall punched out at The Cheesecake Factory is vastly greater than that outside of Bobby's Burger Palace. Where Bobby's was installing windows, my bet is that The Cheesecake Factory is going to entirely push its walls out beyond their current location.
