Uncle Julio's getting major renovations at Bethesda Row (Photos)
You could be forgiven for thinking Uncle Julio's was closed, with all the scaffolding, tarps and lack of signage on the their building right now at 4870 Bethesda Avenue. That's probably why they have a massive sign stating, "NOW OPEN" on the building, as well. The restaurant is undergoing a major renovation, but is still open for business.

I'm guessing the "major renovation" is removing "Rio Grande" from the name.
It would be great if they made the restaurant less noisy. True Foods and Uncle Julio's are both too noisy.
Now if they would renovate their food...
@11:58 AM - Their steak fajitas are great.
Odd that Maloney Concrete has not commented. You would think he would have a lot of happy memories of this site.
Any chance of reporting on what has been approved for the remodeling? Perhaps you could contact the owner and get a rendering. You know, reporter type stuff, not just photos of the demo. Just asking.
