What happened to that great attorney who joined the board last year that you promoted... errr reported?
5:18: I don't recall electioneering for the SCA races last year. I simply reported the results. The only attorney elected last year was Brent Mickum, and "what happened" is that he apparently had a successful year, as he was unopposed in the election.

3:52: Actually, the real question is, why is Montgomery County blocking us from hearing police communications on Broadcastify - this has been going on for weeks. When crime gets bad, cut off information about the totality of crime occurring?

"All of the scanner feeds on Broadcastify.com are provided by volunteers, each one using their own computer and scanner radio.
There is nothing we can do re this matter. This is a feed owner issue and not a Broadcastify issue. If a feed is offline for 21 days it will automatically be deleted from our catalog."
Since MC Fire and Rescue is broadcast is doesn't seem like a county issue.

In speaking with some law enforcement friends, it seems many police departments across the nation aren't broadcasting their police calls anymore.

Fire/EMS use volunteers and therefore continue to broadcast.

Do like I did and actually TALK to those involved, don't just assume. They'll tell you it's especially important with sensitive operations.
