China Garden sets soft opening date

China Garden is finally happening. The restaurant's owners told me last night that they have scheduled a soft opening for their long-delayed new location at 11333 Woodglen Drive in White Flint. China Garden will open on July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM for lunch.
Specializing in dim sum and authentic Cantonese cuisine, China Garden has operated since 1973 in its original Virginia location. All of their chefs are recruited directly from Hong Kong.

6:31: So "dim" that I broke the story on the opening, which is of interest to many people even beyond Montgomery County. Your lack of knowledge of the local dining scene is revealed by both of your troll comments on this post, old sport.

Looking forward to it!

When you get scooped by Dyer on a big North Bethesda restaurant opening, I guess you'd rather talk about Dupont circle instead...lol

Chefs recruited from Hong Kong. I thought Trump cancelled work visas?

This is good news. Spring Garden returning to that area would be even better.
