Just how long was the lifespan of Prima? I seem to recall they opened in perhaps late October of 2019.
Every time I walked past Prima it was almost empty except for the employees working there. It was in a prominent location on a corner, but clearly nobody wanted the "Italian" salads they were serving. The food sat there all day in the serving trays with no-one eating it. Hopefully a better place comes into that space because Prima completely missed the mark on what people wanted.
Prima was a Michael Schow venture.... So this doesn't bode wall his "The Riggsby" next door either.
I would love to see "Taim" open up in the former Prima space. Taim has locations in Georgetown and Dupont Circle in DC. Bethesda seems like the next logical step after that.
