Norfolk Avenue sidewalk reopens by Marriott HQ site

The sidewalk along the south side of Norfolk Avenue between Wisconsin and Woodmont Avenues has reopened to pedestrians. It has been closed for more than three years, due to construction of the new Marriott International headquarters. The sidewalk along the Wisconsin side of the Marriott site remains closed.

Robert,
I just thought of this. Could you find out about the construction at the former police station at Wisc Ave? It's a total nightmare getting down that street. Also, the construction further almost opposite the Bethesda Sport and Health is a disaster. The building at the former police station site looks nearly done. But they have taken an entire travel lane for what, nearly two years? Thanks!

You do realize that the travel lane on Montgomery isn't coming back right? It is slated to become a bike lane when the project is finished.
