It's all over but the crying at the former site of Bethesda TV & Appliance Co., Inc. on Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Demolition began Tuesday, and the entire 1955 structure has now been razed. Several other vacant business buildings await the same fate on the St. Elmo Avenue side of the block. All are being cleared away for the future St. Elmo apartment tower.
