HalfSmoke fans in Montgomery County are still waiting for its Rockville Town Square location to open, but now I've received word the upscale sausage restaurant is expanding to Bethesda, also. It won't be a full-size restaurant like Rockville's, but rather a kiosk in the Dining Terrace food court at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
The owner of the HalfSmoke chain already planned to open a spin-off breakfast concept called Butter Me Up in the former Aroma space at the mall, which will be a full sit-down operation. In the Dining Terrace, HalfSmoke will take over the kiosk where Cold Stone Creamery used to be, and will square off against Ssong's Hot Dog for food court sausage supremacy.

Not at all healthy but darn delicious. This will be a welcome addition but I think the breakfast sit-down restaurant even more.
