The Clark Building has a brighter, cleaner look at the Bethesda Metro Center. A new, two-tone white and grey color scheme has been applied to the facade of the high-rise office building. It is part of a $21 million renovation of the property, which is located at 7500 Old Georgetown Road.
Clark Enterprises sold the building to a joint venture of Stonebridge and Rockwood in 2019, after a lengthy quarrel with adjacent property owner Brookfield over Brookfield's plan to redevelop the Metro Center plaza with a new high-rise.

They should extend this "freshening" to the bus terminal area, which is absolutely filthy. It's always covered in bird droppings and there's severe/extensive water infiltration into the concrete ceiling over by the Kiss & Ride area. Hopefully it doesn't collapse, because it's a real danger.
Looks nice! So much better than that dirty old grey precast concrete.
Are they still going to add large new windows on the previously blank top floor? I believe they are also revising the lobbies with two additions, and more glazing, along with renovated plazas, planters, signage and new landscaping.
I work in that building. They are working on the bottom floor near the Dunkin’ Donuts and then they are going to work on the lobby level.
You know they're relocating to NOVA right? That's a huge loss. Oh well, Elrich is probably cheering.
What is vacancy rate in Bethesda? Are workers in office or remote? Are the streets full during lunchtime?
