SHOPHOUSE BETHESDA ROW ADDS NEW SAUCE OPTION, GIVING AWAY FREE BOWLS THIS MONTH

ShopHouse fans, you have a new sauce option to add to your bowl at Bethesda Row. Peanut Sauce, a sweet and savory combination of toasted and crushed peanuts, coconut milk, palm sugar, tamarind, garlic, shallots, lemongrass, dried Thai chilies and palm sugar joined tamarind vinaigrette, green curry and spicy red curry sauces on the menu this past Thursday.

Also new is a "House Favorites" selection of 4 popular bowl combinations, a good choice for new or indecisive ShopHouse customers.

You may know that ShopHouse is from the same corporate parent of Chipotle. But this month, saving your Chipotle entrée receipt will score you a free bowl at ShopHouse every Saturday in November, from 11 AM to 10 PM.

I guess we know why Robert isn't plugging iPic. No freebies.

Robert Dyer said...

10:42: No, it's because iPic didn't invite me to preview the theater as ArcLight did, nor did iPic even send a press release.

Robert is a parasite - he only reviews places that give him a free meal or event.

Pathetic. Want to review ipic robert? BUY A TICKET.

3:21 You obviously don't understand how media and marketing campaigns work. And now you again have a lot of typing to do, as you will have to post this same comment on every website that attends the media preview events that are part of every serious PR campaign. Welcome to the world.

Lol. 3:21 Robert reviews restaurants that he goes to outside of these events. If you actually did your homework instead of making stuff up you would know that. Get a life, get a life, get a life...

Maybe ipic didn't want to get involved with your crazy rants...

Where does Robert get his money to live? There are no ads on this site?

Has he ever worked for a living? No his pathetic music career doesn't count.

We know all about Robert already. Read the profile the Gazette did in him earlier in the year.

The real question is what anonymous does all day. He is either neglecting his job or doesn't have one. How else could he spend his day trolling a local news site.
Does Prince of Petworth have creepy stalkers also?

Robert Dyer said...

4:44: I'm sure Richard Nixon thought Woodward and Bernstein wrote some "crazy rants," too.

7:28: Anyone who has read your ongoing childish comments on here, and then reads you calling someone else a "raving fruitcake," is laughing hysterically right now. You're posting anonymous comments, and have no credibility whatsoever. You can't put your name by what you're writing - and understandably so.

4:53: There's been more about my background written publicly than about any local blogger. In fact, the public knows more about me than they know about George Leventhal, or Hans Riemer. Was Hans out as Obama Youth Director in April 2008? We don't know; the media never asked.

Bob, this anonymous stalker is becoming unhinged before our eyes. Scary to watch.
I never thought I'd see someone flip out over a post about a bowl at ShopHouse.

You've taken the first positive step, by admitting that you're stalking Bob.
You're making progress!

Hi Bob, I can't find any mention of this promotion online - do you have a link so we can be sure that they'll honor this promotion you list? Thanks!

Tom said...

Hi Bob - what do you mean by "Was Hans out as Obama Youth Director in April 2008?"

I'm unclear of the meaning of that sentence, thanks!

I guess Obama Youth don't like Men Who Look Like Old Lesbians.

I once, in aid of a friend, drop-kicked a Rumanian fruitcake. (It hit a wall, leaving a mark, but landed intact.) However, I lack the heart (or at least the cleated heel) to punt that wobbly plum pudding aka. Anonymouse in redirection to the shrine of the Sultan of Slaw.. When fruit has lost its way, the kindest course of action is still the Snapple Institute.

I'd have posted sooner, but the laughter got to me.

So, how good is this place, as far as Thai food goes? A good Massamun curry can be a treat on a cold winter afternoon.

How good is Shophouse? Eh. Their food I've found on a few occasions dry, salty, and boring.

Robert Dyer said...

Tom, it refers to an allegation made by Democratic rivals of Hans Riemer during the 2010 election - that he was (for whatever reason) no longer Obama Youth Director in April 2008.

Robert Dyer said...

8:39: I like their meatballs and brocolli.

"An allegation that [Riemer] was no longer Obama Youth Director."

More insane, random babbling from the old dude with the creepy obsession with "millenials".

What is the signifance though? And as it pertains to your comment?
