BETHESDA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: BARREL & CROW RESTAURANT (PHOTOS)

No, it wasn't the ghost of Superstorm Sandy. A man-made dismantling of the New England dock-themed patio began last evening at the former home of Freddy's Lobster + Clams, at 4867 Cordell Avenue in Bethesda. The rugged ropes are gone, and the process of rebuilding the space for its new tenant is now underway.

Barrel & Crow is expected to open there in March. But yesterday, a small blast of winter precipitation left the patio looking more like the victim of Bob Ryan's famous Thundersnow than a hurricane.

Seriously, some of you need to get out your parents basement and get a job instead of posting useless comments on here non-stop.

At least we know that it is actually opening, thanks to Kraut's earlier coverage.

Where is your blog that reports any useful information? No time in between games of minecraft in your basement.

Bethesda Now is great for news but weak for commentary. Most of the articles read like straight press releases with little or no analysis.

6:29: By continuing to post these comments, you are at risk of being prosecuted on charges of harassment, stalking, defamation and cyberbullying.

I've warned you for months to stop this illegal harassment. It's only a matter of time before your identity is revealed. You seem to forget that everything you post in the internet is permanent. That includes your racist and homophobic comments, as well as your offensive, irrelevant and bizarre topics you have brought up in your campaign of harassment on here.

You've crossed the line yet again. I hope you realize you are engaged in criminal activity and will face serious penalties.

If you continue this any further, you do so at the risk of criminal prosecution and conviction.
