Imagine 10-15 years from now, when Westbard will look this nice, instead of the dump that is now.
Yeah, I'm pretty excited for both these development projects!
And once again, no mention of iPic.
2 1/2 months of silence.
SHAMEFUL SILENCE!
10:18: Westbard is not an urban area, and not zoned for this density, nor is it near a Metro station. Whatever changes in the future at Westbard, it won't be like Pike & Rose unless Montgomery County officials break their own laws.
12:17: iPic opened months ago. Why would it be in an update?
"...unless Montgomery County officials break their own laws."
Or update them.
They broke their own laws in White Oak which is 5 times further from a Metro than Westbard. They are allowing 5 times the density too. They do not care if their plans make no sense or about existing residents.
5:08: They just did, last October. It allows 45', which is already excessive enough for Westbard.
5:37: So true! The other criminal thing about the White Oak plan, aside from the cheating on the traffic impacts, and pretending the FDA is an innovation hub(!), is that they had the gall to justify the need for this as there being "too much housing, and not enough jobs" in White Oak. And then passed a plan that primarily builds much more housing! This is what corrupt officials can get away with when they control the local media.
