Firefighters are responding to a report of a fire on Battery Lane in downtown Bethesda. According to scanner reports, the call was related to a stovetop electrical problem in a unit at the Madison Park condos, but firefighters found no fire present.
A second, unrelated fire alarm was reported at the Greentree shelter at 6301 Greentree Road at 9:24 AM.
