The KID Museum in the lower level of the Davis Library will remain open during the closure.
While actual renovations will not begin at either building until August, the time is needed to move materials around to clear the way for the work. And asbestos mitigation will be performed at Little Falls Library prior to the start of work in August.

"as first reported by Bethesda Mag."
A comment about Greenhill gets deleted on the previous thread, while @ 7:40 AM remains.
Too funny.
7:13: Relax, it's a press release - never a scoop. Sad that you're spending your Saturday morning spamming for a failing competing website. Sounds like they're in full panic mode.
Dyer's anonymous shill is whispering that there is a major scandal relating to the foreclosed restaurant. Dyer nods and smiles approvingly, yet reports nothing.
@9:32 Which foreclosed restaurant? Pittze? BCS BBQ? Food and Wine? Do tell!
Speaking of the other website, anyone notice their "review" of the new PI pizza place? It's about 5 articles above their sponsored content ad for the same place. That's journalistic ethics for ya!
Getting ready to knock down Little Falls Library for more condos.
Berfield for President!
Since Dyer no longer allows any dissenting opinions to be expressed on his copied-and-pasted crime reports, I need to ask here: Why are four of the items in the report shown in bold font?
Bethesda Magazine's generally positive review of Pi Pizza includes this criticism: "the pie could benefit from more time in the oven."
Dyer's unlabled sponsored content for local restaurants never includes the slightest bit of critical or negative commentary.
2:00pm Presumably to gas light you. It worked.
2:22 PM No one takes that magazine's reviews seriously. They gave Soup Up their highest award. The place was a disaster and closed within a couple of months of opening. Come on. Everyone knows the reviews and "awards" are based on how much advertising you buy in the magazine.
I bet they gave the Jazz Club a "best of" award...the magazine is an owner of the place! No one is fooled by this stuff.
2:00: I think they are in bold font because they are in the same neighborhood...the comments under the crime reports were usually nonsense so we aren't missing anything!
2:22: My Pi pizza was cooked just right - why would I falsely criticize something if it was done correctly? I have given products 0 stars, 1 star when they are actually deserving of such. I, unlike what's being described about a competing publication, have not received any money from any of the restaurants I've reviewed. It is not sponsored content - why would it be labeled as such?
Notice how Dyer does not deny having received free food and drink from said restaurants.
I'm detecting some anonymous jealousy that Dyer is Bethesda's best known restaurant critic.
That's a long time for the libraries to be closed!!
6:21: Not sure what you're talking about - unless I am reporting from a grand opening event, I've virtually always paid for whatever I review myself. Carluccio's, Not Your Average Joe's Thanksgiving, Summer House, Wendy's, McDonald's whatever. Bethesda Magazine reporters have accepted free food, and I haven't heard you criticize them. Hmmm....
7:42: No doubt.
*correction - Del Frisco's Grille Thanksgiving.
2:00PM - The title of the crime report mentions car burglaries around Suburban Hospital. Those are the highlighted ones.
You're welcome. :)
@ 2:00 PM - And Dyer quietly un-bolded those four items. LOL
They are still bold on my screen, creepy laugh guy.
