Westwood Wednesday tomorrow, June 8 at Westwood Shopping Center

Westwood Wednesdays continue this week from 5:00-8:00 PM tomorrow evening at the Westwood Shopping Center in Bethesda. Phil Kominski of The Lloyd Dobler Effect will perform live, and the Hardy's BBQ truck will be on hand for dining purposes. Both will be in the parking lot near Rite Aid.

Games will include cornhole, ring toss, hula hoops, ladder ball and sidewalk chalk. Get free ice cream when you purchase a meal during the event, while supplies last.

Speaking of the shopping center, the video and slide show of the redevelopment meeting held by its owner, Equity One, last week are now online if you were unable to attend.

Hmm These photos aren't exactly the best advertisement. Why are they putting on these "events" anyhow? It just seems odd to me, who wants to hang out in their parking lot?

I wish I lived in a universe where this promo read:

"Westwood Wednesdays continue this week from 5:00-8:00 PM tomorrow evening at the Westwood Shopping Center in Bethesda. Robert Dyer of 'Out For Revenge' fame will perform live, and the Paul's Salon de thé truck will be on hand for dining purposes. Both will be in the parking lot near the Vineyard Vines.

Games will include cornhole with the Poppy Twins, ring toss, hula hoops, ladder ball and Dunk-A-Reimer. Get Hungry Man Apple Cobbler when you purchase a meal during the event, while supplies last.

Ugh seriously this troll is the nastiest person...

1:54: Last time you spammed that story it turned out to be a hoax. Another lame effort to drive traffic from my site to a competitor's failing site. They have to post here just to get actual Bethesda readers. They're struggling!

Dyer is claiming that nighttime construction on the Beltway is "a hoax"?

Watching Berfield getting heckled when he mentioned the 1/3 acre parcel set aside for green space for thousands of new residents was classic! Even he was laughing at that sham . One man chuckled his backyard was bigger. That will be the official Westbard homeless/heroin park I will be sure to avoid.

6:34 PM wow 1/3 acre of green space...that's not much

The Westbard Plan is a disgrace. Deep pocketed developers have more influence in MoCo than residents!

Watching Berliner service Equity One is stomach churning.

Can they hold this epic gathering in an area roped off to 1/3 acre, just to
show how munificent they're being?

3:18: It sure was last week. I'd stick to Waze or traffic "on the 8s" or Google Maps for traffic information.
