Fountain activated at Veterans Park in downtown Bethesda (Video + Photos)

Bethesda Urban Partnership activated the fountain in Veteran's Park yesterday, always a sure sign that Spring is here, and Summer is on the way. The memorial remembers Bethesda and Chevy Chase residents who died in the wars of the 20th and 21st Centuries. This is the earliest I can recall the fountain being activated; it's been around the 17th or 18th of April in past years.

The park, a good spot to eat lunch from one of the many nearby restaurants, is located at the intersection of Norfolk and Woodmont Avenues.
