Three new businesses have opened at
Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
Lazzaro's Authentic Italian Deli has replaced the
recently-closed Big Al's Subs and Soups in the Dining Terrace food court. This was an overnight conversion of the Big Al's stall without any additonal construction. Lazzaro's has no website, no Facebook page, or any other social media presence that I can find.
On the fashion front, two new boutiques have opened.
A Beautiful Closet is on Level 2 next to California Pizza Kitchen.
De Clichy menswear is also on Level 2, next to LensCrafters.

Italian deli? Ok, but who's running it, what's their level of experience, etc, etc. That detail matters. If you could find out, that would be good to know.
Hell, even Vace's is owned by Columbians. Gotta go to Marchone's or Gemelli's on Rte 28 and it's such a shame we don't have more legit Italian in the area.
2:29 - Great point about Vace even though I like that place. Amalfi is closing and people are practically in tears. Amalfi was always awful food and run by a Middle Eastern family. I'm sorry and no offense meant, but authentic Italian should be owned and operated by Italians or Italian-Americans should they not?
" Italians or Italian-Americans should they not?"
Yessir! Or at least, New Yorkers!!
