The wait has been long, but Bethesda may finally get its first taste of what New York magazine termed the Big Apple's "absolute best taco." Tacombi will be open today, May 24, 2022, at 4749 Bethesda Avenue, a company spokesperson said. While the weather may not be optimal for outdoor dining today, you will get a chance to take in the Mexican aesthetic of the restaurant's indoor dining area. Tacombi started as a VW bus taco truck in Playa del Carmen, Mexico in 2005.

The one in Crystal City, which is right next to where I work, is very popular. It’s often packed on the Weekends……….Food is Pretty Good.
I was surprised to find out the Restaurant is actually from New York City.
I went here today. The tacos are pretty good but they are way overpriced. They'll need some good happy hour specials to compete with Gringos'.
That's the "Bethesda Surcharge" 1:17. Charge as much as you think the customer base will pay.

as a former NYC resident who loves Tacombi, yes their tacos are a bit higher than some others in the area but they're also superior in my opinion. Authentic mexican tacos! You get what you pay for!
