Noisy nighttime utility work ahead on Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda

Heads up if you live in, or near, the 8200 apartments or Rosedale Park on Wisconsin Avenue - there could be some noisy nights ahead at the end of January and much of February. A contractor will be performing utility work on Wisconsin between Maple and Highland Avenues, starting around January 29. That work will continue for approximately 3 weeks.

The work, for an unspecified utility company, will require lane closures and therefore must be done at night. Morgan-Keller Specialty Contracts Group has applied to the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection for a noise waiver.
