Chevy Chase Acura expanding in Bethesda

Chevy Chase Acura has expansion plans beyond the Pre-Owned Supercenter it is opening in the just-vacated Chevy Chase Nissan dealership next door. According to the dealership's president, John Bowis, they will soon also be expanding their display of new Acura vehicles. The Pre-Owned Supercenter will have more off-brand vehicles than they offered at Acura before. New customer amenities and more on-site Acura inventory will also be be added.

A major part of their expansion will be in the service department. Service will be accelerated by adding additional bays to get cars moving through the repair process more quickly. Their Body Repair and Paint Shop facilities will expanded. And they will offer full vehicle detailing and reconditioning shop, including ding and dent repairs.

Bowis says Chevy Chase Acura has doubled its sales over the last 5 years alone, and this increased business has led to the expansion of the dealership. More cars sold has also meant that many more Acura customers coming in for service, fueling that department's major expansion.

Chevy Chase Acura is located at 7725 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda.

Dyer says "Quick mom, let me take a picture so people don't think I am riding in your minivan!"

Anonymous 9:15am's mom needs to revoke his Internet privileges. Enough trolling Dyer for awhile.

Someone please send this Acura dealer a map which shows the boundaries between "Chevy Chase" and "Bethesda". Bethesdians should boycott this place until the name is corrected.

Why do you care so much to defend Dyer? So quick to come to his defense!

Anonymous said...

Actually I'm really curious the origin of the use of Chevy Chase. Anyone know?

10:17 AM Why so quick to attack Robert Dyer? You never expose the genesis of your pain.
Your mom should still disconnect your Internet and confiscate for phone for awhile until you learn to stop trolling local journos.

This mistake of geography is over 75 years old.

And Chevy Chase has to do with 19th century fox hunts at the Chevy Chase Club.

These are two of the actual historic things about our area. As opposed to say, a mall from 1978 which was torn down.

"...expose the genesis of your pain"

What kind of fruitcake writes like this?

Anonymous said...

Well, you'd think that 75 years would be enough time to get it right.

11:29 AM Share your pain. It runs deep.

Stop attacking Robert Dyer you juveniles trolls
This blog is a great resource to homeowners in Bethesda

My overriding concern is skyrocketing number of burgularies and home invasions in Bethesda from south all the way up to north Bethesda
Homeowners are not seeing police patrol their neighborhoods
What can we do?

We could stop attacking Dyer (as trolls).

Dyer could also stop attacking the county and its leaders (as trolls).

You could also stop attacking commentors (as trolls)

9:26PM - Why not?

^Pretty much this. It's why I don't come here nearly as often as I used to. D

yer sets the precedent with his invective in his anti-Riemer/Montgomery Countydiatribes, which in turn attracts the trolls to the comments, which results in more childish insults from Dyer and his friend.

Good article by the way.

In MoCo, if you're not enabling and praising Leventhal and Reamer, you're accused of "attacking" them.

They love being covered by summer interns and freelancers who won't hold them accountable.

Anonymous said...

Personally, I'm not a fan of anyone on the council (especially Leventhal), but I would classify ad hominem attacks and insults as "attacking." It's one thing to be critical of a politician's actions, it's another to mention how to tirelessly fling pathetic, immature insults.

Or repeat 10,001 times that a candidate was "bankrolled" by a $500 check from "Bain Capital" and is somehow controlled by Wall Street (for whatever interest they might have in local MoCo politics), especially from someone who bills himself as a "Republican." (Did Dyer not not vote for Romney in 2012?)

Aside from Dyer's best friend who ceaselessly (and instantaneously) defends his every action, no one agrees with the craziness posted on this site. Most of the legitimate readers actually interested in local news and reviews, have left, replaced by a growing crowd of trolls who just mirror Dyer's own increasingly disturbing behavior/unstable behavior.

10:17 You lost credibility by insisting that only "one person" agrees with Dyer here. That's factually wrong. You sound like a nut to keep insisting that.

So, Dyer's surging base of regular readers here are not "legitimate" in your mind. What does that mean?

It's a legitimate question to explore about Bane supporting Reamer. What interest does Bane have in a local county council election? Reamer never addresses it.

Your tactics to attack local journalists is tired at this point. Go and troll the Patch reporters or something.

@ 10:35am Dyer/Dyer's boyfriend/paid protector

It's funny that you use the words the "factually" and "credibility" here since those are two things foreign to you/Dyer.

Anonymous said...

10:35 is obviously anonymous Dyer. He parrots exactly what he says word for word with the exact same belligerent attitude and lack of cogent thought or reason.

Anonymous said...

Same anonymous nutty ideas: Anonoymous believes he is Dyer's lone reader. He believes Dyer writes the content and all the comments except his. In the mind of anonymous, it's just him and Dyer visiting here.
The guy wants attention from Dyer. Sick!

Anonymous said...

Not sure that makes any sense.

Anonymous said...

Only one person, like a lone troll argument?

Anonymous said...

1:18 PM Lone troll? Don't know about that, but the most active troll here revealed his identity by talking about specific public meetings he attended. Guess what- one lone guy attended all of those. Bethesda's most bitter & angry blogger trolls Dyer here :)

Anonymous said...

@ 10:35 AM: "Dyer's surging base of regular readers"

Got any actual numbers?

1:43 PM - it sounds like you are saying that Dyer trolls himself.

Anonymous said...

4:26 PM The shy, bitter man who claimed he watched Dyer at public meetings outed himself as a major troll here.

Anonymous said...

Why not just say the name, if you claim you know it? Stop being such a pussy.

Anonymous said...

6:32 PM It's self evident. Who else attends the same various public meetings as Dyer?
Have good day sir.

Anonymous said...

Self evident. So obvious he can't say it.

Anonymous said...

So you agree all that lone troll talk was nonsense!

Anonymous said...

@ 11:11/4:43/4:26 Dyer's boyfriend/Anonymous Dyer

You must be madly in love with Dyer to blindly defend so much of the stupidity.

I'm sure he's very proud of you. No more than 5-15 minutes after anyone says anything remotely critical of your boo, you're on here unleashing your misplaced rage 24/7.

Anonymous said...

7:48 PM - All public meetings in Montgomery County are attended only by Robert Dyer and a single other person?

7:03AM - Why you make such a big deal about when people post? You make an assumption that people are continually refreshing the blog or jumping when they're notified of a new post. It's a lame theory.
For that matter, I don't see you accusing the same thing of others who post anti-Dyer.

In life, the accuser is often the guilty one.
