Since Cinnabon left the mall some years back, one has had to turn to the unlikeliest of sources to get even a hint of the famous cinnamon roll flavor. Pale imitations can be found in Cinnabon licensed products ranging from Cream of Wheat to coffee creamer. Somewhat closer are the popular Cinnabon Melts at Taco Bell, or the pre-packaged Cinnabon-knockoffs in the bakery aisle.
But it's not the true mall experience of following that famous aroma to the Cinnabon kiosk, and enjoying the world's most famous cinnamon roll fresh and hot. Now if we can just get Sbarro back.

the "mall" updates are the oddest part of this blog. I mean...it's a cinnabon...at...the...mall.
And in Rockville Town Square, too. A place that opened with much fanfare a year and a half ago.
And Congressional Plaza, too.
Dyer has inspired a generation of blogging mall walkers. Local county media is in the A.D. era, "After Dyer". Remember before Dyer- no coverage of retail/restaurants in the county other than the random restaurant review in the Post or Gazette :)

The long-term impact of hyperlocal journalism remains to be seen. Most operate on shoestring budgets and make little money(most revenue comes from sales of ads to local businesses that can't afford to advertise with larger MSM outlets.)
