Nighttime noise ahead for some Kenwood residents

Kenwood residents who live near the Kenwood Station shopping center at 5241 River Road may get a rude awakening next week. Cooling towers are scheduled to be installed at the Whole Foods Market grocery store there between 9:00 PM April 3 and 5:00 AM April 4, 2019.

The contractor performing the installation has requested a nighttime noise waiver from Montgomery County to allow the overnight work hours. Stock up on earplugs this week.

Will it be so loud that it will cause people to turn in their grave? Well no worries about that -- there's actually no cemetery there or nearby, despite what Macedonia church's land-grab claims state.

7:32: It's developer Astroturf guy again. LOL. And your hard copy documentation showing any shred of evidence the bodies were relocated consists of what, exactly?

Meanwhile, there is a bounty of documentation proving the creation and existence of the cemetery, including specific persons interred there.

You just made a fool of yourself again.

They sold it fair and square you GIANT RETARD! You are scared of development NIMBY! Now the guy claiming it moved from Detroit a few years ago he is a bigger Sham than you

Where's the list of names of who is in this supposed cemetery?

9:25: Whatever the mysterious sale was that took place is an entirely separate issue from the fact that the bodies are still buried there.

10:10: A cemetery documented in public land records and published articles and obituaries is not a "supposed" cemetery. Nice try, Astroturf Guy. The list from those records and obituaries has been regularly cited from at protests and in two memorial ceremonies at the cemetery site in 2017.

The county seems to be giving out a lot of noise waivers these days. It makes you wonder why we even have the law.
