Car stolen, auto parts taken from others at several buildings near Montgomery Mall in Bethesda
Auto and auto parts thieves converged on residential buildings near Montgomery Mall in Bethesda over the night between Wednesday and early Thursday. One car was stolen from a residential parking lot in the 7400 block of Westlake Terrace. Auto parts were stolen from vehicles in a garage and parking lot in that block, as well as from a parking lot in the 7500 block of Spring Lake Terrace nearby. This follows a recent theft spree at similar buildings on Battery Lane in Bethesda, in which numerous airbags were stolen from vehicles.
