The highly-anticipated February opening of Tatte Bakery and Cafe at 7276 Wisconsin Avenue in The Wilson office tower has been delayed until the beginning of March. Here's the good news - if you act quickly, you can be one of the first to try Tatte Bakery on March 1, 2021. RSVP on their website for the Friends & Family event to reserve a slot. Here's a sneak peek at the nearly-complete interior of the bakery:

Looks really nice. This place should do pretty well. Hopefully it's a sign of continued investment by other businesses in Downtown Bethesda.
I'd also like to see Downtown Bethesda locations for these businesses as well: Slapfish, Taim, Shouk
What Downtown Bethesda really needs is an additional Supermarket on Old Georgetown Road where the Safeway used to be. Hopefully that happens. It's a real shame that the Dean & Deluca never got built. I think it would have done very well on Bethesda Row.
