Ruth's Chris Steak House to close in Bethesda

Ruth's Chris Steak House
at 7315 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda won't make it to the New Year in 2022. Bethesda Beat's Dan Schere reported Wednesday that the restaurant will close on December 24. Well, there are still Morton's, Medium Rare, Mon Ami Gabi, and the Hawaiian Rib-eye at Woodmont Grill.

Surprised it lasted this long. I often forgot there was a Ruth's Chris in Bethesda as it was a bad location and never looked inviting. Morton's and Capital Grille in FH have been the local "go to" steakhouses.

What's FH? Morton's is worse.

@2:39 PM: FH is Friendship Heights. Frankly, all of these places are rip-offs. Way too expensive for what you get. These places are all flash, but trash. Salt Bae's steakhouses are the worst of all. Save your money and sprinkle salt off of your own elbow from home with a quality cut purchased from a butcher you trust.
