Republican Maryland gubernatorial nominee Dan Cox announced Friday that he has expanded his campaign staff with several new hires. Chief among the additions is Southern Maryland native Zach Werrell as campaign manager. Werrell managed the upstart campaign of Republican Dave Brat when he ousted GOP House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in the 2014 Virginia primary, and Brat went on to win Cantor's congressional seat that November. He was only 23 when he helmed Brat's campaign, and is co-author of the book, How to Bag a RINO: The Whiz Kids Who Brought Down House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

Cox's other appointments include Lucy Kruse as Campaign Press Director, Kate Sullivan as Field Director, Patience Faith as Executive Assistant to Cox, Debbie Olsen to head the campaign's finance team, and Sallie Taylor as Campaign Office Director. In addition, the campaign announced captains and directors have been named for each county and region of the state.
"With our leadership and field team, we will successfully win Maryland with the issues that are most important to Marylanders: Protecting our children, community safety, and advancing a career-friendly atmosphere," Cox said in a statement Friday night. "We are here to unite all Marylanders under this banner.” Cox faces Democrat Wes Moore in the November election.

He's got my vote.
He’ll try hard to downplay his QAnon Roots this Fall up until the Election. It’s up to our trusted Media NOT to let him get away with it !!
2:28, one of the 20% that thinks the economy is good can't see taxation during a recession, (along with democrats in congress), wants Maryland to be driven over the fiscal edge.
@5:04 Seems more taxation for education would have helped you with that grammar and sentence structure.
Seriously, his point was about the candidate being a QAnon supporter, which is (should be) a horrendous personality flaw for this candidate whether you're a Democrat or Republican, and you go off on taxes - which aren't being raised by anything being proposed. (Unless you own a billion dollar profit corporation? I seriously doubt that.)
My mom and Dad were homeinvaded last year in our childhood home in Bethesda. Our entire life through 70s we never experienced one crime in our entire subsection.
In the past year within 2 blocks, 2 neighbors cars have been stolen and 2 others burglarized..
These criminals saw the lights of my moms tv and still came in to our home.
I never thought Bethesda where we used to walk around in dark and feel safe has become so crime ridden and scary.
Hoping that Maryland gets smart and votes Cox and puts an end to this crime wave.
My heart breaks for what Bethesda has become under democrat rule. My parents lived but they never recovered. 50 years in that house ……all those memories shattered in one night.
228 our trusted media LOL
Obviously you are thoroughly brainwashed by the state run media Pravda
2:28/4:21 Seems obsessed with QAnon and is one of the believers that think J6 is bigger than 9-11. Also to believe that an elected democrat won't raise taxes is either blatantly dishonest or incredibly ignorant.
I guess the 87,000 IRS agents + 80 BILLION dollars added to the IRS budget has nothing to do with raising taxes on the middle class. Fact: There are only about 735 US billionaires and most are "connected" to the democratic party so no worries there or the almost billionaires, (still mostly connected to the democrats). I guess in liberal world, these agents will spend their time harassing small business owners who file "false" claims of looting and vandalism performed by the democrat voter base. It's not like additional agents or federal dollars would have helped at the border because Mayorkas said it's secure, (except for the illegals sent to DC which dictates the National Guard).
But let's worry about QAnon...
#9:10PM Snowflake in a coddled world of make believe. Wake up and smell the burnt coffee, or coffevee, you are not in OZ, and your precious little Btown is also part of the Real World, not the on you mommy was watching on MTV.
@4:21; Shoot, I thought @ 2:28 was being facetious about the Qanon and trusted media (right?), Cox wins on all the items and issues that are actually important to Marylanders. The only thing the left has is calling names/labels and their cult. Not the voters: The Politicians.
If you vote for a Republican this time bc you are starting to see quality of life lower, you are worried about your kids hating you and this country bc of what the schools are teaching, and you want to get back to the rule of law it's not a sellout or shameful; it's self preservation and acknowledgement that the Democratic party lawmakers are not Democrats; the socialist left wing movement has taken it over. Vote Republican and then maybe moderate Democrats will run again and realize they don't have to bow down to the noisy radicals.
This is a good year to vote for Republicans in the State of Maryland. We have many great women who have made a commitment to run for office.
The media completely ignore giving coverage to the Republican candidates. The double standard and biases are very disappointing.
My heart breaks for 9:10 and for all of us who are dealing with this crime wave. I’d never vote for MAGA Cox, who the Gov has denounced, but if you want to crack down on crime, get out from behind your computers and start hosting fundraisers for Reardon Sullivan all over the County. Now that Blair is out, Sully is the one with the FOP endorsement.
